Less pasta, more health?

The latest research suggests that a diet poor in carbohydrates has a major impact on blood pressure and cholesterol. In this study involving 146 people with excess pounds that have been divided into two groups. One group eating foods rich in carbohydrates and the other has barely consumed.

By comparing weight changes in cholesterol and blood pressure of participants in the study, researchers found that group eating a little carbohydrates quickly weaken and the participants quickly dropped their blood pressure.

The conclusion of this research is that diet poor with carbohydrates has a positive effect on persons with high blood pressure and high cholesterol.
